On September 3rd, 2020, the STEER stakeholder workshop took place in a virtual format. Originally, the event was planned as an extra day of the final consortium meeting in Bonn, which had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation. Stakeholders from the STEER in-depth case studies and beyond participated in the event.
The event aimed at fostering mutual learning with and among the case study partners, researchers, and practitioners. The project coordinator Claudia Pahl-Wostl (Osnabrück University) presented the STEER project results. She focussed her talk on the comparisons across case studies. Ulf Stein (Ecologic Institute) introduced a newly developed diagnostic water governance tool. In breakout groups, the participants discussed the specific challenges that hamper coordination in their specific situations and discussed potential solutions.
